Bergkamp was the prime contractor on this 6-mile highway project. The job included 9 bridges, 8 reinforced concrete boxes, 5,400 LF of storm sewer and 2,700,000 CY of earthwork. The project won the “Excellence in Partnering Award” for large projects, a cooperative award sponsored by the Kansas Contractor Association and the Kansas Department of Transportation.
